Patricia Abbott, Artistic and Executive Director
M. Mus. (Voice Performance and Vocal Pedagogy), McGill University
The EMSB Chorale has been under the direction of Patricia Abbott since 1990. She has more than 30 years’ experience working in the field of choral music as a conductor, professional singer and arts administrator.  Ms. Abbott also conducts the Chorale du Gesù, the Ensemble vocal Cantivo and Les Voix du Carrefour,  taught for 11 years as an artist-in-residence at FACE School and served for 16 years as the Executive Director of the Association of Canadian Choral Communities (ACCC) and for seven years as the Artistic Director of the CAMMAC Music Centre. She has adjudicated, guest conducted and given workshops across Canada, in the U.S., in Europe and in Argentina. Her work has been recognized with a National Choral Award for Distinguished Service from ACCC, the Ordre du mérite choral from the Alliance des chorales du Québec and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
Marie-Ève Arseneau, Assistant Conductor
B. Mus., B. Ed., McGill University
A native of the Magdalen Islands, Marie-Ève Arseneau has been with the choir for nine years. A graduate of McGill University, Ms. Arseneau teaches band at FACE School, teaches piano privately and has also sung with several prestigious chamber choirs in Montreal. 
Anne-Marie Denoncourt, Accompanist
M. Mus. (Accompaniment), Westminister Choir College, Princeton, N.J.
In addition to running a successful piano studio, Ms. Denoncourt works with many of Montreal’s top choirs, singers, and instrumentalists. She has also taught and accompanied at McGill University, the Université de Montréal, CEGEP St-Laurent, l’École de musique Vincent d’Indy, Joseph-François Perreault and Pierre-Laporte high schools, as well as serving as a co-director for the CAMMAC Music Centre. She has performed across Canada on tour and in festivals, including several international events, and has been heard on numerous radio broadcasts.
